Hi, I’m Daníel Örn, a passionate photographer based in Iceland.

For the past 17 years, I’ve been capturing the world through my lens, but it’s Iceland’s dramatic landscapes and powerful waterfalls that truly inspire me.

I specialize in long exposure and drone photography, techniques that allow me to highlight the raw beauty and contrast of Iceland’s natural wonders. When I’m behind the camera, I’m drawn to the way the waterfalls seem to blend power and serenity. There’s an undeniable energy in them, yet a sense of peace that invites you to pause and simply observe. That balance between motion and stillness is something I strive to capture in every shot.

While photography is a side project for me, it’s a deep passion that I dedicate time to whenever I can. I travel across Iceland to find the perfect moments, constantly chasing the light and unique perspectives that make this country so remarkable. Each photograph is a journey, and I love the process of slowing down and immersing myself in nature, taking the time to truly connect with the landscape before pressing the shutter.
